A deepening area of low pressure will advance eastward, just north of Lake Ontario Wednesday and Wednesday night with strong southwest to then westerly winds that may gust into the lower 50 mph range across our region. A period of rain showers Wednesday with the passing cold front and storm system will taper off as showers, and perhaps higher elevation snow Wednesday night. $$
