...GUSTY SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT NORTHEASTERN ERIE AND
SOUTHWESTERN NIAGARA COUNTIES THROUGH 300 PM EDT...

At 159 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a line of heavy showers
and thunderstorm over Amherst, moving east at 20 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Buffalo, North Tonawanda, Clarence, Kenmore, Amherst, Tonawanda,
Williamsville, Grand Island, Pendleton, Akron, Clarence Center, East
Amherst, and Rapids.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Heavy rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding, especially in poor drainage areas. Do not drive
your vehicle through flooded roadways.
