.DISCUSSION...
Issued at 1245 PM CST Thu Dec 4 2025

The cold front has now cleared the coast leaving some lingering
showers across the region under mostly cloudy skies. Conditions
are expected to dry out across the region by this evening, though
rain chances are expected to return across the region Friday. This
is due to sufficient isentropic lift at the 305K level. Expect
showers across the area through midday with chances diminishing
during the afternoon hours. The region will see a slight warming
trend this weekend ahead of our next front. This will bring
temperatures down slightly. Though since its not as strong of a
front and upper level moisture not being as abundant like we saw
with this front bringing widespread cloud cover, we will see highs
remaining in the 60s and 70s with 80s returning to the region by
midweek. Lows however will be pretty chilly to start the week with
30s in our northern counties and into Victoria. 30s and 40s will
be expected through Tuesday morning. Generally, dry conditions
will exist through the period after Friday.

Will continue to monitor the possibility of minor coastal flooding
along the Gulf beaches. We didn`t see advisory conditions the past
couple of days though with tide levels expected to continue
peaking around 1.8 MSL it`s worth keeping an eye on.

.AVIATION...
(18Z TAFS)
Issued at 1245 PM CST Thu Dec 4 2025

The cold front has cleared the coast allowing for visibilities to
improve, though low ceilings remain in its wake. Expect MVFR to
LIFR conditions to continue through tomorrow afternoon with some
showers. Conditions will improve there after.

.MARINE...
Issued at 1245 PM CST Thu Dec 4 2025

With the cold front now offshore, fresh to strong northerly flow
has followed in its wake and will last through Friday morning.
Small Craft Advisory conditions will persist through tomorrow
morning (Friday). Winds are forecast to weaken to gentle to
moderate heading into the weekend, with the wind direction
varying. Rain chances today will increase to medium to high,
60-90% through Friday night. Low to medium chances linger through
Saturday evening.

&&

.FIRE WEATHER...
Issued at 1245 PM CST Thu Dec 4 2025

Elevated fire weather conditions are not expected through the week.
Winds will remain light to moderate inland, predominately out of the
north to northeast. Minimum relative humidity will remain above 30%
daily through Saturday. Sunday`s relative humidity values will dip
below 30% due to a passing cold front, however due to low ERC and
winds, confidence is low for any elevated fire weather conditions.
Low to medium rain chances continue today through Friday, with
greatest chances over the Coastal Bend and Victoria Crossroads.
