Low temperatures will range from the mid 20s to mid 30s. Breezy on Sunday with a couple of rain and snow showers across portions of northern Pennsylvania. High temperatures will range from around 40 degrees in the northern Alleghenies to the lower 50s in the southern tier valleys. Dry and tranquil conditions are expected Monday followed by periods of rain Tuesday into Wednesday. Temperatures will trend milder into midweek and peak 10 to 15 degree above the historical average on Wednesday with highs in the low 50s to low 60s. Temperatures will turn decidedly colder Thanksgiving Day into the holiday weekend. Brisk and blustery winds will add an additional chill. The arrival of much colder air crossing the Great Lakes will ramp up the potential for lake effect snow accumulation along the Lake Erie shoreline into the snowbelts in northwestern Pennsylvania. Several inches of snow could impact holiday travel across the northwest part of the Commonwealth Thursday into Saturday. $$ MRS
