Regional Weather Summary
National Weather Service State College PA
448 AM EST Tue Dec 2 2025

Low pressure moving up the East Coast today is spreading snow
across the state this morning. Heavy snow is expected for brief
periods across most of the Keystone State today. The west will
have most of their snow fall before noon, and the east between
sunrise and 3 PM. Widespread snowfall totals of 2" or more are
likely with totals over 6 inches possible in the Poconos. Some
freezing rain could mix in with snow across the southern tier.
Cities across the southeast including Lancaster, West Chester and
Philadelphia will see the snow turn to rain. High temperatures
will range from the lower 30s on the northern hilltops to the
upper 30s in Philadelphia.

It will be mostly cloudy with a few light snow showers tonight
over the western highlands. Elsewhere, it should be mainly clear.
Lows will be in the teens across the north and mid 20s in the
south.

Wednesday should turn out partly to mostly sunny with highs in the
upper 20s to upper 30s.

An arctic cold front will create snow showers and a few squalls
later Wednesday night and Thursday. Temperatures will fall
throughout the day over much of the Commonwealth. Morning or mid-
day highs will range between 25 and 40 degrees. By mid afternoon
the temperatures will be down to the upper teens in the northwest
and mid 30s in the southeast.
