The fog will transition to a layer of low stratus clouds later this morning through this afternoon, and the clouds will drift into the Northern Mountains and areas of the state east of the Susquehanna Valley as a ridge of high pressure slides toward the New Jersey Coast and a light southerly flow develops at low levels. Temperatures to start the day today will range from the low 20s to the mid 30s. High temperatures today will be a few degrees milder than Wednesday, with highs in the mid 40s and low 50s. The next chance for rain will come on late Friday and continue into the mid morning hours on Saturday as a weak wave of low pressure moves east from the lower and mid Ohio River Valley. $$
