Slushy areas with temperatures in the low-to-mid 20s across
western Pennsylvania this morning could produce slick spots for

mostly sunny skies are expected today with high temperatures
ranging from the upper 20s across the higher elevations on
northwestern Pennsylvania to the upper 30s across portions of
eastern Pennsylvania.

An arctic cold front will bring lake and terrain enhanced snow
showers primarily across the western and northern portions of the
Commonwealth late Wednesday night into Thursday. Temperatures will
fall in the wake of a cold front Thursday afternoon accompanied
by a brisk northwest wind and drop into the single digits and low
teens Thursday night into Friday morning.

A storm system passing to the south of Pennsylvania could bring
snow to the southern tier of the state later Friday into Friday
night.
