.DISCUSSION...

Light and variable winds tonight into early Friday morning. They
will likely be roughly southeast until around 9 AM, then becoming
southerly through the rest of the day with speeds up to 10 mph in
the afternoon and gusts up to or just over 20 mph. Expect a low-
level inversion to remain in place throughout the day with only
minor mixing in the mid-day to afternoon. Smoke dispersal
conditions will be poor to fair with a low mixing height. Min RH
around 40-45% during the afternoon with a ~20% chance that RH
could fall a little below 40%. Skies are expected to be mostly
sunny.

There is a 20% chance for light rain Saturday morning with any
accumulations around a trace to maybe a hundredth of an inch or
so. Much better mixing conditions are expected Saturday with winds
switching to northwesterly behind a cold front. Expect breezy
conditions with gusts around 25 mph. After any rain moves out in
the morning, drier weather with RH falling to around 35-40% is
expected in the afternoon.
