...A strong thunderstorm will impact portions of northeastern Bureau
and northeastern Putnam Counties through 945 PM CDT...

At 901 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Ladd, or 8 miles northwest of Peru, moving east at 45 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Strong winds could break small tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Hennepin, Spring Valley, DePue, Ladd, La Moille, Dalzell, Bureau
Junction, Cherry, Malden, Seatonville, Arlington, Hollowayville, Coal
Hollow, Zearing, and Ottville.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 80 in Illinois between mile markers 61 and 72.
 Interstate 180 between mile markers 7 and 13.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM CDT for
north central Illinois.
