...Elevated Fire Danger Today...

A combination of unseasonably warm temperatures, southerly winds
gusting 20 to 30 mph, low humidity, and dry cropland will lead to
elevated fire danger today.

Any fires that ignite, especially in cropland, will spread quickly
and could become difficult to control.

Outdoor burning is strongly discouraged. Please heed any local
burn bans. Take care to prevent the start of accidental fires
when smoking or operating vehicles and farm equipment around dry
vegetation or crops.
