The National Weather Service in El Paso Tx/Santa Teresa has extended
the

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Northeastern El Paso County in western Texas...

* Until 845 PM MDT.

* At 526 PM MDT, Texas Park and Wildlife confirmed thunderstorms
  producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 2 and 2.5
  inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to
  1 inch are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is already
  occurring.

  HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

  SOURCE...Emergency management reported.

  IMPACT...Flash flooding of arroyos, urban areas, highways, and
           streets as well as other poor drainage and low-lying
           areas.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Hueco Tanks State Park, Hueco Mountain Estates, Butterfield and
  Homestead Meadows.

Roads in and around State Park Road near Hueco Tanks are currently
impassable due to flooding. Avoid flooded roads.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
