This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for South-Central Texas..

.DAY ONE...Today And Tonight.

No hazardous weather is expected at this time.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday.

A tropical disturbance developing over the Gulf of Mexico will
bring a high chance of rain to South Central Texas starting
early Wednesday morning and continuing through Friday. By Friday,
widespread heavy rainfall totals of 2 to 5 inches are projected,
and a few areas could see amounts in excess of 8 inches. Although
drought conditions in area streams and lakes could help minimize
flooding impacts, many locations are expected to experience
dangerous run-off conditions with rapid rises in river and lake
levels possible. A Flash Flood Watch is in effect for areas along
and south of I-10 and east of I-35 from Wednesday morning through
Thursday afternoon. It will likely be reconfigured as the heavy
rainfall event evolves.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation is not anticipated.
