.DISCUSSION...
Significant fire weather concerns are not expected through
Thursday. Easterly winds in the 8 to 16 mph range and peak
gusts near 25 mph are expected today. Winds will weaken some
on Thursday (6 to 12 mph with gusts near 20 mph), but they
will still be blowing from the east. Afternoon relative
humidity values will remain low for mid June (35 to 45
percent) both today and Thursday. Mixing heights will be
in the 4000-6000 ft AGL range today and Thursday. Transport
winds will be above average through Thursday (10 to 25 mph).
Isolated thunderstorms could occur in east central Georgia
between 3 PM and 8 PM today.
