Rangeland Fire Danger Statement
National Weather Service Sioux Falls SD
322 PM CDT Mon Oct 6 2025

.DISCUSSION...

Fire danger expected to remain low through tomorrow as we stay
under seasonably cool temperatures and light winds. Temperatures
are expected to warm-up into the mid-to-late week as rain chances
stay low (<15% chance). Winds look to pick up Wednesday and
Thursday, which could locally enhance the fire weather danger.
Uncertainty remains as some of the strongest winds may not line up
with the lowest relative humidity values, so be sure to keep up
to date with the latest forecast. At this time, rain chances look
to increase (>25%) this weekend.
