This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for south central Nebraska and
portions of north central Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

Unseasonably warm temperatures and strong southerly winds gusting
up to mainly 35 to 45 MPH will lead to elevated fire weather
concerns across the entire outlook area this afternoon and evening.
Near critical conditions may develop for a couple of hours this
afternoon across some areas along and west of Highway 183 where
slightly lower relative humidity values down to around 20 percent
will be possible.

A few thunderstorms could return to a limited west to northwestern
portion of the area overnight tonight.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday.

Better thunderstorm chances return Sunday evening and night. A
few storms may become strong to marginally severe for areas south
of Interstate 80. Large hail and damaging winds will be the
primary threats.

Thunderstorm chances return to portions of the area Monday
afternoon to night and again Wednesday.
