This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for south central Nebraska and
portions of north central Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

Thunderstorms are forecast to develop mainly west and northwest of
the local area this afternoon, then shift eastward during the
evening and overnight hours. Some of this activity could be strong
to marginally severe in the 7pm through around midnight time
frame. Quarter to half dollar size hail and wind gusts up to 60
MPH are the primary threats. Locally heavy rainfall of a quick
2-3 inches in a short amount of time will also be possible, and
may lead to localized minor flooding. The greatest risk for
severe storms and heavy rain looks to be west through northwest
of the Tri-Cities.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday.

Additional periodic bouts of isolated to scattered thunderstorms
are expected Wednesday through Thursday night. A few storms on
Wednesday afternoon could be strong with small hail and gusty
winds, but widespread severe weather is not currently
anticipated. Isolated heavy rain will also remain a possibility
with the strongest storms Wednesday into Thursday.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
Spotters are encouraged to report hail of any size, along with
any wind gusts of at least 50 MPH and possible localized flooding
that might occur through this evening.
