SOUTHWESTERN JEWELL...SOUTHERN SMITH...OSBORNE AND SOUTHEASTERN
PHILLIPS COUNTIES THROUGH 130 AM CDT...

At 1242 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking the leading edge of
strong thunderstorm outflow along a line extending from near Athol
to near Osborne to 8 miles southeast of Natoma. Movement was east at
30 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to around 50 mph and pea size hail, with
         strong winds possible both along the initial outflow
         boundary and near heavier rain cores moving in from the
         west and southwest.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Smith Center, Plainville, Osborne, Stockton, Downs, Cawker City,
Natoma, Tipton, Kirwin, Woodston, Gaylord, Alton, Portis, Zurich,
Ionia, Hunter, Harlan, Cedar, and Codell.
