...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT THAYER COUNTY THROUGH 115 AM
CDT...

At 1237 AM CDT, Doppler Radar and an automated weather station
reported strong thunderstorms along a line extending from Hebron to
Narka Kansas. Movement was east at 40 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph.

SOURCE...Automated Weather Station. At 1217 AM CDT, a Kansas Mesonet
         station near Belleville reported a 53 MPH gust.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Hebron, Deshler, Chester, Alexandria, Hubbell, Belvidere, and Gilead.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
