For eastern Utah and western Colorado, here is the latest weather
synopsis
Scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected again today with a bit
less coverage than yesterday. However, the potential exists for strong to
severe storms with large hail, damaging wind and heavy rainfall rates. An
enhanced risk of flash flooding and debris flows is possible due to heavy
rainfall rates in addition to recent rainfall over the last few days. Areas
of saturated soils, recent burn scars and steep terrain are the most
susceptible to flooding. Much drier air will move in behind the low
pressure system tonight into Sunday, leading to a quieter day and fall-like
temperatures.
