This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for north-central and northeast
Wisconsin.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

A winter storm will impact the region today. Heavy snow is
expected across north-central Wisconsin, with accumulations of 8
to 15 inches possible in Vilas County, locally higher in the
northwest corner of the county. Snowfall of 3 to 8 inches is
expected in Oneida, Forest, and Florence counties. Strong
northwest winds gusting 35 to 45 mph will cause significant
blowing and drifting snow, creating very difficult travel
conditions.

Light snow accumulations of 1 to 4 inches combined with gusty
northwest winds 35 to 50 mph will create hazardous travel
conditions at times across central, east- central, and far
northeast Wisconsin today, and into tonight across the Door
Peninsula. Isolated power outages are possible.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday

Light lake effect snow will continue to lead to hazardous travel
over north-central Wisconsin on Thursday and Thursday night.

Confidence is increasing for accumulating snow across the region
on Saturday and Saturday night.

Spotters are requested to forward snowfall measurements and wind
gusts greater than 40 mph to the National Weather Service in
Green Bay.

from 35 to 45 knots are possible.

Gale force winds are expected through midday Thursday. Northwest
gales from 35 to 45 knots are possible.
