...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS APPROACHING THE WATERS...

The areas affected include...

Nearshore waters from Washington Island to Two Rivers...
Open waters of Lake Michigan from Rock Island Passage to Two
Rivers...

At 526 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated strong thunderstorms, capable
of producing winds to around 30 knots. These thunderstorms were
located along a line extending from 6 nm west of Algoma to 13 nm
southwest of Denmark, moving northeast at 20 knots.

Locations impacted include...
Rawley Point Light, Kewaunee Pierhead Light, and Sturgeon Bay Ship
Canal Light.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots, locally higher
waves, and lightning strikes. Boaters should seek safe harbor
immediately until these storms pass.
