Partly cloudy skies prevailed across the region during the late
morning as upper clouds lingered across the forecast area. Some
breezy southerly winds gusting to 20 mph were reported in north-
central Wisconsin near Rhinelander. 11 AM temperatures ranged from
the low 60s in the far north to the low 70s in central Wisconsin.

Cloud cover is expected to gradually increase from the southwest
this afternoon out ahead of an approaching warm front. Chances
for showers will likewise arrive from the southwest late this
afternoon and evening. High temperatures are expected to range
from the upper 60s near the lakeshore to the upper 70s in the Fox
Valley.

Rain will continue to spread across the area overnight and into
Sunday morning along with increasing chances for thunderstorms.
Periods of heavy rainfall will be possible with localized amounts
over one inch in some areas. Lows are expected to drop into the
upper 50s to mid 60s. Additional chances for showers and storms
then return Sunday afternoon as a warm front lifts north. Some
strong to severe thunderstorms will be possible during the
afternoon and evening.
