...THUNDERSTORMS WITH GUSTY WINDS OVER THE WATERS...

The areas affected include...
  Nearshore and Open Waters from St Joseph to Pentwater MI...

At 421 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated an area of thunderstorms,
capable of producing winds to around 30 knots. They stretched from
was located 10 nm northwest of St. Joseph Light northward to
Whitehall.  They were moving northeast at 50 knots.

Locations impacted include...
South Haven Light, Saugatuck Pier Heads, St. Joseph Light, White Lake
Pier Heads, Mona Lake Channel, The White Lake Pierheads, Little Sable
Point Light, Grand Haven Light, Muskegon Light, and St. Joseph.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots, locally higher
waves, and lightning strikes. Boaters should seek safe harbor
immediately until this storm passes.
