...EXTENDED OUTAGE OF JOANNA BALD NOAA WEATHER RADIO
TRANSMITTER...

The NOAA Weather Radio All Hazards transmitter WWG-82,
broadcasting from Joanna Bald Mountain and serving the western
mountains of North Carolina, will be off the air until further
notice.

Maintenance is being planned for the site by mid-November in order
to bring the transmitter back into service. We apologize for any
inconvenience this may cause our listeners.
