.DISCUSSION...
A ridge of high pressure will build over the West Coast as
sunny skies, warmer temperatures and morning fog dominate
Central Californias weather. This pattern will hold true
through next Tuesday with Wednesday as the start of the
transition period toward wet weather. In the meanwhile, warming
trend will take temperatures above seasonal normal values this
weekend and into early next week.

While temperatures will start at near normal values this
Friday, the trend will be for max temperatures to reach for the
80 degree mark by early next week. Probability of Exceedance
(PoE) of reaching 80 degrees falls below 50% for areas from
Fresno City, northward. To the south of Fresno, PoE jumps up to
70%-90% for the Sunday/Monday time frame. Similar values will be
observed until the next storm enter the region later next week
(Wednesday night-Thursday).

Afterward, long range ensemble analysis places a low chance of
of heavy precipitation over portions of Central California by
next late Wednesday Thursday. While some uncertainty in the
magnitude currently exist, longer range ensemble moisture
analysis is placing later Wednesday to early Thursday as the
start time of this next event as a weak Atmospheric River with
lower snow levels.
