391 FXUS66 KHNX 070915 AFDHNX Area Forecast Discussion National Weather Service Hanford CA 115 AM PST Fri Nov 7 2025 .KEY MESSAGES... 1. Dry conditions with seasonable temperatures through Saturday before a warm up on Sunday and Monday. 2. Patchy fog developing each night until the arrival of the next storm. 3. Next storm system moves in Wednesday into next Thursday. && .DISCUSSION... A ridge of high pressure will build over the West Coast as sunny skies, warmer temperatures and morning fog dominate Central Californias weather. This pattern will hold true through next Tuesday with Wednesday as the start of the transition period toward wet weather. In the meanwhile, warming trend will take temperatures above seasonal normal values this weekend and into early next week. While temperatures will start at near normal values this Friday, the trend will be for max temperatures to reach for the 80 degree mark by early next week. Probability of Exceedance (PoE) of reaching 80 degrees falls below 50% for areas from Fresno City, northward. To the south of Fresno, PoE jumps up to 70%-90% for the Sunday/Monday time frame. Similar values will be observed until the next storm enter the region later next week (Wednesday night-Thursday). Afterward, long range ensemble analysis places a low chance of of heavy precipitation over portions of Central California by next late Wednesday Thursday. While some uncertainty in the magnitude currently exist, longer range ensemble moisture analysis is placing later Wednesday to early Thursday as the start time of this next event as a weak Atmospheric River with lower snow levels. && .AVIATION... Areas of MVFR to IFR conditions will exist this morning until 18Z. A few patches of LIFR conditions will also exist between 12Z and 17Z this morning. Otherwise, VFR conditions will prevail for the next 24 hours. && .AIR QUALITY ISSUES... None. && .CERTAINTY... The level of certainty for days 1 and 2 is high.
