Regional Weather Summary
National Weather Service Wichita KS
426 PM CST Tue Dec 2 2025

Quiet weather prevailed over a majority of the Central Plains today
as a handful of showers and snow flurries tracked eastward across
South Dakota. Otherwise, the rest of the region saw mostly clear to
partly cloudy skies and light to slightly breezy winds as a cold
front moved through the area. High temperatures this afternoon
ranged from the 30s and 40s across South Dakota and Nebraska to the
upper 40s and 50s across most of Kansas and Oklahoma.

The aforementioned cold front will continue pushing through the area
overnight and bring chances for light snow and flurries to portions
of Nebraska and far northern Kansas. Little to no accumulation is
expected. Overnight low temperatures will range from the teens and
20s across Nebraska and Kansas to the low 30s across Oklahoma.

Breezy north winds are anticipated behind the front as it passes
through central and south central Kansas on Wednesday. Additionally,
some areas may see a few flurries through the late morning and
afternoon hours, though accumulation is not expected at this time.
High temperatures in the 30s and low 40s are anticipated across the
Sunflower State, while cooler values in the 20s are expected across
Nebraska.
