231 AWUS83 KICT 292224 RWSICT KSZ032-033-047>053-067>072-082-083-091>096-098>100-301030- Regional Weather Summary National Weather Service Wichita KS 424 PM CST Sat Nov 29 2025 A strong cold front moved through the region this morning and brought some light snow accumulations to portions of central and northern Kansas. This front also brought gusty winds to Kansas as most of the state saw peak gusts of 40-50 mph. As the storm system continues to swing into the Midwest winds across the Plains states will slowly diminish this evening. High temperatures today occurred this morning across most of Kansas ahead of the cold front with temperatures steadily dropping behind it. Northwest Kansas say temperatures in the lower 30s while southeast Kansas was near 50 degrees. Temperatures will continue to drop tonight as surface high pressure slides south out of Canada. Temperatures by Sunday morning will be in the lower 20s across northeast Oklahoma to the upper single digits across southwest Nebraska. While winds will be weakening northerly winds around 10 mph will make it feel even colder with wind chills in the single digits to lower teens across most of the Central Plains. Temperatures will remain cold on Sunday only warming to the upper 20s across northeast Colorado to the mid 30s across southwest Missouri under partly to mostly cloudy skies. $$
