It was a chilly day across the Sunflower State with high
temperatures ranging from the low 20s in the northwest corner to
near freezing in southeast Kansas. Light north winds were observed
across the eastern half of the state this afternoon as gusty south
winds prevailed over eastern Colorado and far western Kansas.

Light snow is anticipated to develop late tonight beginning in
Nebraska and expanding southward into the majority of Kansas by
sunrise. Light easterly winds at the surface are forecast under
cloudy skies as temperatures dip into the single digits across
Nebraska and into the 20s across Oklahoma.

Light to moderate snowfall is expected to continue throughout the
day on Monday across Kansas, Missouri, and Oklahoma before
shifting off to the east by late afternoon. Modest accumulations
are expected, with the highest local totals up to 3 inches
anticipated over portions of central and northeast Kansas. Totals
closer to 1 inch are likely across south central and southeast
Kansas. High temperatures in the 20s and 30s are forecast from
South Dakota to the Red River Valley.
