Regional Weather Summary
National Weather Service Wichita KS
419 PM CST Fri Nov 28 2025

It was a cloudy day across Kansas as a warm front remained
positioned across the state. This cloud cover and the boundary
led to a large temperature variation across the state with
high temperatures in the low to mid 50s across southern Kansas to
the 30s across northern Kansas.

A storm system will move out of the Rockies tonight and spread
east across northwest Kansas. Ahead of this system rain showers
will begin to develop across eastern Oklahoma into southeastern
Kansas with a wintry mix transitioning to all snow across
Nebraska tonight. Temperatures will drop into the teens and lower
20s across northeast Colorado as the attendant cold front swings
through overnight with temperatures in the low to mid 40s across
southwest Missouri.

The cold front will continue to advance through Kansas on
Saturday bringing colder air and gusty northwest winds to the
state behind it and widespread light rain ahead of it. High
temperatures on Saturday will range from the upper 20s across
northwest Kansas to the near 50 degrees across northeast Oklahoma.
Wind gusts up to 45 mph are expected across western and central
Kansas which will make the temperature feel as if it is in the
single digits across northwest Kansas to the teens across central
Kansas during the afternoon.
