Aside from a few high level clouds across the Nebraska Panhandle,
the central US has clear skies with temperatures ranging from the
30s across western Kansas and Nebraska to the 40s across eastern
Kansas. Southerly winds will return to much of the central US
later today as temperatures range from the low 60s in northeast
Kansas to the upper 60s and near 70 across southern and western
Kansas. Southerly winds will continue to gust up to 20 mph across
much of the central Plains tonight. This will help temperatures
remain in the 40s to near 50 for most areas of the central Plains.
