Another mild late summer day was observed across the region today
with breezy southerly winds. Isolated showers and storms developed
over southeast Kansas while much of the area remained dry.
Afternoon high temperatures ranged from the upper 80s to lower
90s.

Mostly dry weather conditions are expected tonight although a
rogue shower or tow could impact parts of eastern Kansas. Low
temperatures tonight are forecast to fall into the upper 50s and
low 60s in western Kansas while those in eastern Kansas bottom out
in the mid 60s.

An approaching storm system will keep a chance of storms in the
forecast over much of the area on Tuesday. Another mild day is
anticipated with high sin the upper 80s to around 90. Increasing
southeast winds are expected in western Kansas where some gusts
over 30 mph are possible.
