Cloudy skies and scattered rain showers persisted over the region
through the day. Afternoon temperatures were in the 50s with light
winds.

An upper level weather system will move slowly eastward tonight
with scattered light rain showers shifting from Kansas into
Missouri. Some areas of fog could develop during the overnight
hours across Kansas, Oklahoma, and Missouri in the wake of the
departing rain showers. Overnight lows will range from the 20s in
the Nebraska panhandle to the low 50s in eastern Oklahoma.

Much drier and air will surge southward across the Heartland on
Tuesday along with strong and gusty northwest winds. Winds of 20
to 30 mph with gusts around 40 mph will spread across the region.
Daytime highs will range from the 30s in northern Nebraska to the
mid 60s in eastern Oklahoma.
