Fire Weather Planning Forecast for the Southern Great Lakes
National Weather Service Northern Indiana
417 AM EDT Tue Jun 18 2024

.DISCUSSION...

Hot and humid air arrived yesterday and will persist through
Saturday. However, some energy arriving from the south will bring
shattered showers today. Given ongoing dry conditions over much of
the area, drying out of some fine fuels has been occurring and is
likely to continue away from the small areas that receive a wetting
rain. Chances for showers and storms are rather remote the rest of
the week.
