SOUTHEASTERN CHARLTON COUNTIES THROUGH 615 PM EST...
At 527 PM EST, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms
capable of producing a landspout along a line extending from 8 miles
west of Taylor to near Winfield. Movement was east at 25 mph.
HAZARD...Landspouts and wind gusts around 40 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Gusty winds
could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured
objects.
Locations impacted include...
Lake City, Taylor, Macclenny, Glen St. Mary, Five Points, Winfield,
Olustee, St. George, and Sanderson.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
