...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHWESTERN LAUREL...
SOUTHEASTERN PULASKI...NORTHEASTERN MCCREARY AND NORTHWESTERN WHITLEY
COUNTIES THROUGH 315 AM EDT...

At 239 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Alpine, or 13 miles southeast of Somerset, moving northeast at 45
mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Burnside, Sloans Valley, Parkers Lake, Lily, Huxley, Mount Victory,
North Corbin, Bunch, Hightop, Bark Camp, Rye, Holly Bay Rec. Area,
Greenwood, Alpine, Grove, Bernstadt, Baldrock, Dorthae, Dykes, and
Rockcastle Springs.

THIS INCLUDES THE FOLLOWING HIGHWAYS...
 Interstate 75 in east central Kentucky between mile markers 27 and
35.
 Kentucky Highway 80 in Laurel County between mile markers 1 and 7.
 Kentucky Highway 80 in Pulaski County near mile marker 40.
 U.S. Highway 25 East in Laurel County between mile markers 1 and 2.
