High pressure sliding into the Eastern Seaboard will promote a
north to northeast wind today across the island chain. Light winds
expected with poor to fair dispersion indices this afternoon. As
the high begins moving into the western North Atlantic, it will
build, leading to freshening breezes by Friday. Near to slightly
above normal rain chances expected today and tonight, increasing
on Friday.
