.Discussion...
A lingering surface boundary is situated to the south of the
island chain, and will pull back toward southern Florida over the
next day or two. Rainfall chances will jump drastically from
around 30 percent today to 60 percent tonight. As showers
initially pop up, thunderstorms are not expected due to some
lingering drier air aloft. However, deepening moisture tonight
will lead to some increase in thunderstorm chances. Overall fire
weather concerns are at a minimum.
