Fire Weather Planning Forecast
National Weather Service Lake Charles LA
337 PM CDT Mon Jun 10 2024

.DISCUSSION...
Rain and thunderstorm chances increase today with the approach of
an upper-level disturbance and a weak surface cold front,
expected to cross the area tonight. This feature is forecast to remain
draped over the adjacent coastal waters or Louisiana coastline
into mid-week which will result in increased chances for mainly
afternoon showers and thunderstorms. Drier conditions will work
into the region behind the front with dewpoints in the low to mid
60s north of I-10 by Thursday.
