...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT SOUTHEASTERN NYE COUNTY THROUGH
845 PM PDT...
At 807 PM PDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong
thunderstorms 25 miles southeast of Blue Eagle Ranch, moving north at
40 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Heavy rainfall along with gusty winds could knock down tree
limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage
to vegetation is possible.
Locations impacted include...
Blue Eagle Ranch and Troy Peak.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
Persons in campgrounds should consider seeking sturdy shelter until
this storm passes.
