Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Eastern/Central MO and Southwest IL
National Weather Service Saint Louis MO
402 AM CDT Wed Jun 19 2024

.DISCUSSION...

Above normal temperatures and humidity levels typical for mid-June
are expected today. Highs will be warmer than Tuesday but winds
will be much weaker than the previous few days. Largely dry weather
will prevail with perhaps a few short-lived showers or thunderstorms
across parts of central and northeast Missouri and west-central
Illinois. Temperatures will creep up a little each day and remain
above normal through the weekend with the hottest days on Friday
and especially Saturday. The next decent chance of measurable rainfall
will occur on Saturday night and Sunday associated with an advancing
cold front.
