Regional Weather Summary
National Weather Service Baltimore MD/Washington DC
100 PM EST Wed Dec 10 2025

Here is a look at the weather features that will affect the region
over the next several days.

As Canadian high pressure exits offshore, a quick moving clipper
system will pass through the Great Lakes. The associated cold
front tracks through this evening, while a secondary cold front
will follow suit early Thursday. This ushers in a reinforcing shot
of cold air to the region.

Yet another fast moving frontal system may reach the area by
midday Friday leading to another cold weekend ahead. The mid to
late week period also brings numerous chances for Allegheny
Mountain snow showers, with some chance of snow spilling east of
the mountains by Friday.

Another wave of low pressure may impact the area with wintry
precipitation chances Saturday into Sunday before Arctic high
pressure moves in early next week.
