Fire Weather Planning Forecast for West Texas/Southeast New Mexico
National Weather Service Midland/Odessa TX
306 PM CDT Sat Jun 15 2024

.DISCUSSION...

Overall fire weather concerns remain low over the next several
days. Minimum RHs will reach below 10-15% each day through Tuesday
mainly west of the Pecos River. Areas to the east will see
better moisture returns. Isolated storms will be possible each
afternoon over the higher terrain and could lead to lightning
starts. Light winds will keep the risk for fire spread low. Better
moisture reaches areas to the west late this coming week.
