...Patchy Black Ice Expected Through The Morning Commute...

* WHAT...Rapidly falling temperatures will cause residual water on
  road surfaces to flash freeze, resulting in patchy black ice.

* WHERE...Portions of East Arkansas, Southeast Missouri, and West
  Tennessee.

* WHEN...Through Late Tuesday Morning.

* IMPACTS...Roads that appear wet may actually be icy. Hazardous
  travel conditions are possible, particularly on untreated roads,
  bridges, and overpasses.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Motorists are urged to use extra caution if traveling this
morning. Slow down and increase following distance between
vehicles. Be especially alert when approaching bridges and
overpasses, as these structures freeze before paved roadways.
