...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT DESOTO...NORTHWESTERN TATE AND
SOUTHEASTERN SHELBY COUNTIES THROUGH 430 PM CDT...

At 357 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Eudora, or near Hernando, moving northeast at 40 mph.

HAZARD...Winds in excess of 30 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Southaven, Collierville, Germantown, Olive Branch, Horn Lake,
Hernando, Memphis, Coldwater, Eudora, Southeast Memphis, Whitehaven,
Midtown Memphis, Lynchburg, Frees Corners, Cedarview, Bright, Nesbit,
Capleville, Jago, and Robinson Gin.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
