...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 3 PM EDT THIS AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of southeast Florida, including the following
  counties, Broward and Miami-Dade.

* WHEN...Until 300 PM EDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 105 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
    thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
    shortly in the advisory area.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Miramar, Surfside, Miami Gardens, Hallandale, North Miami,
    North Miami Beach, Aventura, Sunny Isles Beach, Opa-Locka,
    West Park, Golden Glades, Ojus, Hard Rock Stadium, Miramar
    Parkway And University Drive, Pembroke Park, Bay Harbor
    Islands, Bal Harbour, Golden Beach, Ives Estates and Fiu
    North Campus.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
