.DISCUSSION...
Gusty southwesterly winds are continuing through the remainder of
today into tonight. Gusts of 30 to 35 mph are expected.
Tonight, winds will shift to become northeasterly in central
Wisconsin, with a stalled frontal boundary slowly sinking
southward and shifting winds to northeasterly into Saturday,
resulting in widespread showers with isolated thunderstorms across
central Wisconsin and some isolated to scattered showers across
the remainder of southern Wisconsin. Far southern to southwestern
Wisconsin may see sun and therefore temperatures in the 60s, which
would allow for RH values to drop into the 50s.
Sunday, winds shift to become southwesterly as low pressure
approaches, then northwesterly as low pressure exits. Widespread
rainfall is expected on Sunday, with a few thunderstorms expected
as well. An isolated stronger storm is possible along the
Wisconsin/Illinois border.
