.DISCUSSION...
Issued at 1228 PM CDT Sat Nov 1 2025

Conditions have certainly trended drier over the next 48 hours as
an upper low digs into the mid-mississippi Valley and a subtle
southern stream shortwave attempts to phase with the upper low.
This will result in a surface low developing over the northern
Gulf on Sunday and progress along the stalled frontal boundary
northeast across the Florida Peninsula. Rain chances have
continued to trend towards remaining offshore with the surface
boundary remaining just offshore. At this point the forecast
should remain dry, except for maybe an isolated shower across our
far northeastern Counties in Alabama where some moisture might be
able to wrap around the backside of the developing low. Other than
that, the low will just bring a reinforcing shot of cold air
Sunday night.

Once the upper low moves off to the northeast Sunday night, high
pressure over Texas will quickly build and allow for dry
northwesterly flow the first half of the week before slowly
flattening out by mid to late week. No rain is expected as
temperatures start cold with lows once again in the 30s and highs
in the 60s before gradually warming up each day to lows in the 50s
and highs in the low to mid 70s. Some patchy frost may be possible
late Sunday and Monday nights across areas north of highway 84.
However, winds may stay elevated enough to prevent any frost
development. BB-8

.MARINE...
Issued at 1228 PM CDT Sat Nov 1 2025

Light northerly winds become easterly on Saturday as a surface low
develops over the central Gulf. A light to moderate northerly flow
develops by Sunday and becomes moderate to strong Sunday night.
A Small Craft Advisory may be needed Sunday night into Monday for
the offshore marine waters and small craft are advised to exercise
caution during this period. The offshore flow gradually
diminishes through Tuesday with a light easterly flow following
for Wednesday. BB-8
