.SYNOPSIS FOR CALIFORNIA WATERS...High pressure centered to the W
and NW of the N and central waters will maintain a ridge S
through Thu close to the outer waters. A weak low will form over
the central and southern California waters today with a trough
extending N and S from the low pressure. By late today the low
pressure dissipates and the trough moves towards the coastline
tonight and then persists into Thu and Thu night along the N and
central coast. The ridge W of the waters will become absorbed by
stronger area of high pressure centered farther to the W and NW
of the region Thu night into Fri, then remains in place Fri night
through Sat night while strengthening and the coastal trough
intensifies over the N and central areas later Fri through Sat
night.
