Survey Summary:
A likely microburst impacted the area near Highway 41 and 619
Avenue east of St Mary. Several trees were uprooted with large
limbs broken. A garage had siding blown off, and an unattached
mobile home was badly damaged as it was displaced or rolled up
against a tree. All damage was pointing toward the east northeast,
with a slightly divergent damage pattern, and a wider damage swath
than a tornado. This damage pattern along with radar velocity
data suggest that the damage was likely caused by an intense
microburst with winds up to 85 mph.
