Fire Weather Planning Forecast for NE Oregon and SE Washington
National Weather Service Pendleton OR
220 PM PDT Mon Jun 10 2024

.DISCUSSION...Breezy winds with gusts 25 to 35 mph will continue
through the Cascade gaps this afternoon as transient high pressure
aloft moves across the region. A dry cold front and upper low
pressure system will impact the area tomorrow, producing a tight
surface pressure gradient and bringing breezy to windy conditions.
Gusts will generally be 25 to 40 mph across lower elevation zones
through the afternoon, with high confidence (75-90%) of the
strongest wind gusts of 40 to 50 mph in the Kittitas valley.
Afternoon RHs, will be in the 20s in the lower elevations, though
a slight marine push will keep RHs in the upper 20s to mid 30s
through the Cascade gaps.

***Winds are 20 foot 10 minute averages***
***CWR-chance of wetting rain 0.10 or greater***
